Raindrops

Have you ever noticed
The Raindrop sound?
The gentle 'plop plop plop' 
As it falls to your roof?
Have you ever noticed
How soothing it sounds
With its gentle pitter-patter?

I lay awake at night, 
In all my sleepless dreams
Then I hear that sound
'pitter patter pitter patter'
The rain has come
It lulls me to sleep
With Peaceful dreams

Then I hear it's Mighty Roar
as the thunder booms
And Lightning Flashes
I smile at it
The sky roars again
Like a lion in all its pride
And when the lightning flashes
There's pictures in the sky.
